5.1 Your name, and address, and email address – I need this information to maintain contact with you and to comply with current tax regulations set down by HMRC.
5.2. I may ask for information about the type of business you are working in, the name of your business and any other relevant information for the work. This information is simply for my own use, to understand you and the work better.

6.1 I commit to safeguarding and securing the information that is collected from you and have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to ensure this. I am aware of my need to abide by the General Data Protection Regulation, which came into force on 25 May 2018, and have assessed the situation regarding the information I request from you, how it is stored and the steps I would need to take in the event of a breach of personal data that results in a risk to your rights and freedoms.
6.2 All information related to you is treated as strictly confidential and no information will be made available to a third party unless authorised in writing by you and unless any of the limited conditions listed in 6.3 below apply.
6.3 I reserve the right to disclose personal information if (a) mandated by law, (b) you bring any court action against me and (c) I believe that such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights, property or safety of my website, its users or the public.
6.4 All documentation containing your address will be deleted once I have sent you the final invoice for work done.
6.5 The invoice(s) sent to you from me will include your address. I will keep invoice(s) for about 7 years and they will then be permanently deleted. I need to keep these invoices in case HMRC investigates my tax records and requires evidence to be sent to them of the work I have done, which might include sharing contents of emails with them. After that time the emails will be permanently deleted from my system.
